NDUTU MAGIC:
LENGTH: 6+ DAYS (seasonal)

Early in the year is the best time to visit the Ndutu. Each year from January to March, the great wildebeest migration reaches Ndutu which is the southern point of their migration. The land is lush and there is plenty of food. The million strong herd stops here for their calving season where thousands of females will give birth. Naturally, all these wildebeest one area, attracts a lot of predators, namely the big cats. Being part of the Ngorongoro conservation area (just at the Serengeti border), off roading is permitted in Ndutu. So if you want to experience big the big cats (eg. lions, cheetahs, leopards), Ndutu is unbeatable. It is also a time when the clouds are massive and there is often a rain shower which adds to the atmosphere of this magical location.

 

This tour focus on Ndutu with a night in Ngorongoro and a tour of the magnificent crater habitat.

  • When your flight arrives, we will head straight to Ngorongoro. Depending on the arrival time, we will stay overnight or head straight into the crater followed by an overnight at Ngorongoro.

  • The next morning we will either wake up early and explore the crater or head straight to Ndutu.

  • For the next 5 days, we would explore Ndutu in search for big cats.

ELEPHANT EXPEDITION:
LENGTH: 4 DAYS

This package is the go to for elephant lovers! Elephants in Northern Tanzania are known to be bigger, and sport an impressive set of tusks. Over four days, we will explore multiple national parks, with one goal. To find and observe the biggest animal on land, in all their glory. Elephants are all about family and we will observe the whole herd as they go about their day. Though focused on elephants, the northern circuit is home to may predators and other magnificent creatures which we will also have an opportunity to observe. Below is a list of national parks that can be included with this tour:

THE BIG THREE: 
LENGTH: 8 DAYS

​Explore the crown jewels of Northern Tanzania in just a little over a week! This package is focused on an immersive wildlife experience. While the lion share of this tour will be devoted to exploring the remote and less travelled parts of the Serengeti, we will also spend a day exploring the iconic highlands of Ngorongoro and the crater habitat on route. Similarly on the way back, there is an option to visit Tarangire national park with its unique landscape and large elephant population.
